I love that it is renewed. It is quite symbolic of how we can always change.
Fast forward almost three decades, and I was able to return to the Logan Temple sitting up on that beautiful green hill. This time with my own children in tow.
Driving down highway 89, we eagerly looked ahead anticipating the temple. It is still such a joy when I first see that spire.
I think the feelings we get are a tiny glimpse of what it will be like to live and walk with God. Peace, hope, gratitude, wonder, and a feeling of home.
Yes, our visit extended our day by quite a bit, but it was so worth it. I can’t imagine having missed out on such a wonderful place.

It was the 13th temple to be built in Utah, the fourth in the Salt Lake Valley, and the second temple in the city of South Jordan. Dude.
I love to see how the designs have changed through the years. Boise has the detached six spire design, and is the same as both the Chicago and Dallas temples.
It is interesting the feelings that the temple can stir up in us, those feelings of home. Even seeing it off in the distance brought a sense of peace.
This temple will hold a special place in our hearts..
